 PRP/Bone Graft: A small amount of the patient’s blood is put into a centrifuge machine to separate the platelets from the rest of the blood. The PRP is then combined with the patient’s bone or a bone substitute and added to the surgical site. PRP can be used in dental bone grafting for dental implants, sinus lift procedures, ridge augmentation, it can also be used to repair defects in bone caused by tooth removal or to address the fistulas between the mouth and sinuses.
